Recognising the site of the Marlborough Wine Festival, all Festival Block wines honour this annual celebration of local food and wine and showcase varietals from around New Zealand. The Montana Festival Block Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of grapefruit and white flesh nectarine are complemented by notes of capsicum and tomato leaf. The palate exhibits citrus and stone fruit enhanced with lemon zest highlights. This wine shows a fantastic equilibrium of concentrated fruit flavours, excellent balance and a mineral finish.

Marlborough's flagship varietal, proudly grown at Mud House's Woolshed Vineyard. Planted in 2002, the Woolshed Vineyard consists predominantly of river terrace gravels with overlying silt and loam soils. Tropical notes of passionfruit are driven by aromatic blackcurrant, lime leaf and zesty grapefruit. The Rabbit Ranch Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc from their vineyards in the South Island of New Zealand and the Central Otago Rabbit Ranch home block. A cool climate, elegant yet assertive style Sauvignon Blanc, left on the lees for approx 3 months to tone down some of the overt grassy, grapefruit notes and giving a lovely textural boost to the wine.
