Recognising the site of the Marlborough Wine Festival, all Festival Block wines honour this annual celebration of local food and wine and showcase varietals from around New Zealand. The Montana Festival Block Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of grapefruit and white flesh nectarine are complemented by notes of capsicum and tomato leaf. Marlborough's flagship varietal, proudly grown at Mud House's Woolshed Vineyard. Planted in 2002, the Woolshed Vineyard consists predominantly of river terrace gravels with overlying silt and loam soils.
