A ruby red coloured wine. Lovely fresh perfumes of currants and wild cherries and hints of spices and vanilla. On the palate it is well balanced with a long, tasty finish.

The climate of the Barossa Valley is not dissimilar to the warm, dry regions of Europe where the origins of the Grenache can be traced. The region is held in very high regard for this varietal and boasts some of the oldest vines in Australia. The 2024 Bin 21 release immediately captivates with a bright and alluring perfume of floral notes and exotic spice. With fruit sourced from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, it delivers a harmonious balance of freshness and structure. A distinctive minerality immediately strikes the palate, a signature of the terroirs from which this Grenache hails. The acid is crunchy and invigorating, laying the foundation for a blend of red fruits that dance across the palate. Blueberry tart brings a balance of sweetness and acidity. The texture of the palate is notable, with papery tannins, suggesting an elegant and refined structure. These fine tannins contribute to the wine's mouthfeel, providing a satisfying chewiness without overpowering the delicate fruit profile. The Barossan showcases the superb fruit sourced from the many fabled sub-regions across the Barossa Valley. A selection of the Barossa's key growers, renowned for their quality and skill, have shared their passion and pristine fruit to create this ultimate expression of a great Barossa Grenache. The wine displays bright purple hues with a core of garnet red. The lifted palate is smooth and silky with raspberry, violet flower and a hint of dried sage. This juicy red wine is perfect to accompany antipasto dishes, smoked meats and many Asian-inspired dishes with a bit of spice. Tannins are restrained, so this is also a lovely wine to enjoy as a pre-dinner option on its own and delicious when served slightly chilled.

The wine has a lifted bouquet of black cherry, violets, plum and all enhanced by hints of cedary oak. The concentrated palate exhibits boysenberry, red currant and fine grain textured tannins. Will age well with careful cellaring.

Intense fruit flavours reminiscent of red berries, violets and liquorice. There is good structure on the palate, its well-rounded with fruity sensations and a long aftertaste.

Concentrated aromas of raspberry and white pepper offer a bold, fruit forward and spicy nose. Beautiful deep ruby hue as your pour into the glass.

A blend of 50% Tempranillo - Spain's most famous grape variety, 43% Shiraz - the workhorse of Australian reds, a dab of Grenache in the mix. Full bodied and supple with cherry and chocolate flavours at the fore, underpinned by notes of liquorice and savoury spice, held together with silky Tempranillo tannins.

This Malbec is full of intense dark fruit characters, a hint of plum stone and spicy notes of black pepper create a wine that is full to medium-bodied with a smooth finish.
