The winemaking team works with a family of growers to source a diverse variety of grapes from premier vineyards throughout California. The resulting wines are interesting blends of distinct quality and character. The Blend Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Merlot, and Malbec.

Y Series was created to bring you great wine minus the fuss - just easygoing, flavour-packed varietals, for any occasion. The mission is to keep wine approachable, expressive, and never too serious - because there is and always has been a Y for every Why. An exotic turkish delight twist on Australia's most popular grape variety. The Y Series Shiraz Viognier will intrigue the curious palate with its pretty and exotic aromatics. Pairs perfectly with pizza or grilled meats.

Deep red purple colour while aromas of blackcurrant and mocha fill the glass, with hints of rosemary and five spice. The palate follows through with blackcurrant and is complimented by notes of ripe plums and spice.

The nose is abundant with vibrant red fruits supported by subtle hints of French Oak. On the palate, well balanced tannins are intertwined with flavours of black cherries, satsuma plums and mulberries. This all leads to a wine which is full bodied in style with a plush mouthfeel and great length of flavour.

Named in honour of a Thorn family ancestor, William Randell Shiraz is the only single vineyard Shiraz produced by Thorn-Clarke and is sourced from the older Kabininge Vineyard. This wine is only produced in exceptional years, and in very small volumes equating to less than 1% of total production. With fruit quality and intensity second to none, this wine is aged for 22 months in 100% new French and American oak. Black and inky in colour, the complexity and concentration evident on the nose and palate are amazing. Cellar up to 15 Years.

A classic example of McLaren Vale Shiraz displaying vibrant and expressive notes of dark fruits, chocolate, violets and vanillin spice.

There is plenty of fruit weight here, some mocha, and grilled meat notes, more vanilla coming through on palate. Supports Kea Conservation Trust, working to protect this majestic and cheeky bird.

This elegantly structured Pinot Noir from Marlborough's southern Awatere Valley displays aromatic layers of red fruit and spicy florals that lead to mouth-filling flavours of cherry, plum and finely integrated French oak. Balanced with soft, silky tannins, this wine has a delightfully long and lingering smooth finish.

Black fruit and dark plum aromas seamlessly blend with subtle spicy notes in this smooth and silky Hawke's Bay Merlot. On the palate flavours of blackberry, cassis and hints of cocoa are balanced with fine tannins leading to a dry and richly textured finish.

Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels wines are crafted from vineyards within this small, sub-region of Hawke's Bay. Deposited by a wandering river, these unique, stony soils create exceptional wines of character and personality. Gimblett Gravels Syrah is a rich and concentrated red, offering perfumed aromas of ripe black fruits, savoury spice, liquorice, and Provençal herbs. The palate is silky and succulent, layered with depth and complexity, leading to a lingering, spicy finish. Enjoyable now but will also develop beautifully with age, making it a perfect companion to red meat or game dishes.

Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels wines are crafted from vineyards within this small, sub-region of Hawke's Bay. Deposited by a wandering river, these unique, stony soils create exceptional wines of character and personality. The Gimblett is a sophisticated red wine blending the aromatic beauty of Cabernet Franc with the rustic character of Tempranillo. It offers complex aromas of brambly blackcurrants, plums, and coffee, layered with hints of dried herbs, chocolate, and sweet spices. The palate is generous and textural, framed by fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity, delivering a succulent, supple experience with long-term ageing potential of 10-20 years. Best enjoyed decanted, it pairs beautifully with rich dishes like Beef Bourguignon.

The Homage is a beautifully aromatic wine with interwoven berry purity oak sophistication. A floral, scented nose initially dominates with brambly, blackberry & licorice aromatics sitting in the background. Intense and concentrated in the mouth with fine-grained tannins providing a powerful, yet silky texture. Balanced acidity & supportive oak ensure the wine remains vibrant, focused, & supple on a palate distinguished by exceptional length of flavour & a lingering spicy finish.
