Vibrant flavours of quince, nectarine, pink grapefruit and elderflower are complimented by a flinty minerality, notes of roasted cashew nut and a subtle creaminess derived from wild fermentation and lees aging in French oak.

Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. A richly textured Pinot Gris with exceptional aromatics. Pear drop and nectarine aromas are heightened by lifted ginger spice, rose and honeysuckle notes, while the palate is rich and long with a medium dry finish. A core of fruit suggestive of citrus, citrus blossom, white peach, and fresh fig provides the base that carries layers of savoury complexity including toasted hazelnut or cashew, brioche and driftwood smoke. Individual parcels of Tempranillo and Merlot, grown in Craggy Range's Hawke's Bay Vineyards are carefully selected for balanced flavour and freshness. Harvested, then gently pressed for careful colour and flavour extraction. Brilliant blush rose in colour. Lifted juniper and rosewater perfume with underlying crushed wild berry fragrance. The palate has a textural succulence of raspberry and pomegranate fruits, finely balanced with a savoury phenolic line. Delicious.
