Roaring 40's Robust Porter is a dark and complex beer with dominant flavours of roasted malt and chocolate, complemented by New Zealand Fuggles hops that add a subtle herbal and earthy character. It has an aroma of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans with a hint of caramel sweetness. It is full-bodied with a rich and velvety mouthfeel and a balanced bitterness from the roast notes. It is perfect for those who enjoy dark beers and should be savoured slowly to appreciate its full flavour profile.

Winner, 15th West Coast IPA Challenge, 2022. With seven West Coast hop varieties, this IPA is inspired by Eddyline's favourite seven-piece Kiwi band. It is packed with enough complexity and flavour to fill a stadium with chill reggae dub vibes and still punch enough bitterness to pump out a post-punk set into the darkest dungeon. Look out for passion fruit and mandarin skanking away on the malt dance floor, then wash away into the darkness for a crisp bitter finish.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

As a young man, Richard Emerson was a huge fan of the Dunedin Sound. Being deaf, he couldn't hear the music, but he could feel it. From the jangling guitars reverberating through the speakers, to the buzz reverberating through the gigs. This beer is a tribute to The Sound, made with NZ hops for a bold local flavour, that will reverberate around your taste buds.

At Emerson's, it doesn't matter who you love. They're all united by the same love - beer. Rainbow Road is a celebration of diversity, with their staff, their families, and of course, their lovely customers. Happy Birthday, Richard Emerson. This year is a big one, indeed. Emerson's founder, the godfather of craft brewing in New Zealand, turns 60. To honour the great man, they brewed him LX. Their classic London Porter, aged in whisky barrels for four months.
