In Ya Face Double IPA is not here to fornicate with arachnids. Loaded with an absolutely ridiculous amount of bold, brash, unapologetically in-your-face hops from the good ol' US of A, this beer doesn't do subtle. It does LOUD. It does INTENSE. It does "Oh wow, I just got slapped in the face with hops, and I think I liked it." Let's be real, this is not the kind of beer you sip daintily at a poetry reading. Welcome to the Joint Venture Project. A series of brewhouse two-headers featuring Boneface and some of their favourite breweries. First off they're dropping in with the legends at Mt Maunganui's Mount Brewing. Since both head brewer's have polish roots, the idea of a Grodziskie-style Smoked Ale drifted by. Prepare yourself for a ground swell of oak-smoked wheat malt breaking in a frothy wave of carbonation.

Despite the name, 'German Hill' isn't particularly German at all. It earned its title from the blunt local assumption that any European accent must surely be German - when rather it was Inglewood's influx of Polish immigrants settling there in the area in the late 1800s. Close enough, right? Nestled just outside of Inglewood, the volcanic mound originally known as Atoa Iwa had previously served as a perfect kainga for local iwi, giving commanding views of the surrounding land. It also boasted several clean, bubbling springs of water known for its excellent mineral composition. Raise a stein and give a mighty Prost to this beer, brewed with traditional German malt and hops, with inspiration taken from the pure, fresh springs of German Hill.

Melt your way into this juicy hazy. With sonic booms, lava, and destruction all around, this brew erupts with bold bursts of tangerine, mango, and pineapple, layered over a bready base. It's a tropical explosion in every sip - and it'll go down faster than a helium balloon in a lava field.

Forged in hops. Tempered by time. First brewed in 2015 now reborn a decade later-Stone Hammer IPA returns to shake the halls of Epic once more. This isn't just a beer. This is a full-throttle Citra/Mosaic/Simcoe war cry, echoing with citrus lightning and tropical thunder. That first sip strikes with juicy hop oils-grapefruit zest, passionfruit flesh, and a whisper of pine sap. A sturdy malt backbone holds the line, offering a subtle caramel sweetness before the bitterness surges like a battle cry across your taste buds. Bold, brash, and dangerously drinkable-Stone Hammer IPA has earned its place in the halls of Epic legend. Prove you're worthy.

Named Freya after the Norse goddess of war, love, and destiny, this West Coast IPA stands as a tribute to power with purpose - bold, clear, and unrelenting. Crystal clear and golden with a punchy aroma of grapefruit zest, pine resin, and crushed gooseberries. The first sip hits with bright citrus peel, sharp pine, and dank herbal edges, followed by waves of ripe mango and blueberry from the Mosaic. A firm, cleansing bitterness grips the finish, leaving a dry, lingering echo of crushed florals and spice. Commanding. Clean. Divine. A West Coast IPA that strikes like thunder and moves like prophecy.
