Flame is a moderately bittered, full-bodied lager style beer. The beer is nicely balanced and has light refreshing fruity notes in the flavour and aftertaste.

Inspired by a throw-away descriptor by beer blogger Phil Cook, Angry Peaches aims to create an aggressive stone fruit character with absurd amounts of American hop Amarillo. Rye's a bastard to brew with, but after a remarkable 8 years ageing in bourbon barrels, not only is all forgiven, but this beer has been transformed. Rich at its inception, it's now developed an astonishing vanilla oak and spirit complexity like a fine madeira. It's a bastard, but it's worth it.
